BRITISH HAIR AWARDS
asquared salon is proud to announce that Abena Richardson has been short listed from hundreds to be short listed as a finalist at the prestigious British Hairdressing Awards 2009. The category she has been Afro Hairdresser of the Year, part of the British Hairdressing Awards 2009.
Now in their 25th year, the acclaimed event will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Park Lane. The awards – organised by Hairdresser’s Journal International - have been designed to recognise and reward the outstanding innovation and creativity amongst hairstylists of the highest calibres today.
Entrants, from all over the UK, are judged independently by a distinguished panel, upon sending their photographic entries that demonstrate the skills, talent and ability of the applicant.
Abena, winner of the Wahl/Black Beauty Southern Stylist of the Year 2008, and her award-winning team will attend the glittering ceremony where the six finalists will await the announcement of the winner on Monday 23 November 2009.
